Congressman Don Davis(NC-01) announced House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has appointed him to serve a second term on the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors.
“As a veteran and a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, I am grateful to continue serving on the Board of Visitors,” said Congressman Don Davis. “I look forward to more engagement with cadets as they prepare to become future leaders and to ensure they have the tools to serve our country as we face growing threats.”
Congressman Don Davis(NC-01) was appointed the ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee's Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development. He will also serve as the vice ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee following his reappointment to both the House Armed Services Committee and the Agriculture Committee for the 119th Congress.
Congressman Don Davis voted in favor of H.R. 29, the Laken Riley Act, a vital piece of legislation that addresses critical failures in our immigration enforcement system to prevent future tragedies. Congressman Don Davis’ bill, H.R. 4518, the Veterans Caregiver Appeals Reform (CARE) Act, was signed into law by President Biden following passage in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate.
