Congressman Don Davis’ Statement on the Charlie Kirk Resolution

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Don Davis (NC-01) released the following statement following adoption of H.Res. 719, Honoring the life and legacy of Charles “Charlie” James Kirk.

 “My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk’s family. Our nation deserves far better than the horrendous tragedy that unfolded at Utah Valley University. Violence and hate speech have no place in society. Now is the time for us to come together and work to restore civility and respect across our country.”
