If you are struggling to get a response or feel you were treated unfairly, our office may be able to help resolve the issue or provide you with more information. While we cannot guarantee a specific outcome, we are committed to doing our best to ensure you receive the assistance and answers you deserve.

To streamline your inquiry, please be prepared to provide information such as:
- Your full Social Security number
- VA claim number for a case with the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Taxpayer identification number (Social Security number, if individual) for an Internal Revenue Service problem
- Your address, home phone number, and daytime phone number (if different from home) so that we can obtain any additional information from you that might be necessary
- Your physical address
- Copies of any related documents or correspondence that you may have from the agency involved

The Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a) requires that Members of Congress or their staff have written authorization before they can obtain information about an individual's case.
Due to the fact that we are a federal legislative office, we are unable to assist you with legal issues, private disputes, or issues with your local or state government.
