WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Don Davis (NC-01) marked the culmination of his first year in Congress by unveiling his end-of-year report. The report highlights legislative achievements and successful constituent casework wins, underscoring his commitment to North Carolina’s First Congressional District.
“As a native of eastern North Carolina, I am honored to serve the people of North Carolina’s First Congressional District. My team and I have fought hard to ensure that national leaders see and hear our voices. In 2023, I voted to avert two government shutdowns, which otherwise would have devastated the East, and prioritized tackling health care, the needs of rural America and agriculture, and national security,” said Congressman Don Davis. “Eastern North Carolinians have unique needs and interests. Many have conveyed concerns about inflation, good-paying jobs, housing, public safety, schools, the looming national debt, the crisis at the southern border, and child care. I will lead us in 2024 and beyond, working to address these issues. We must keep the American Dream within reach for our children and future generations.”
