Congressman Don Davis Announces Grant for Blood Disease Research

GREENVILLE, N.C. — Congressman Don Davis (NC-01) is pleased to announce East Carolina University will receive a grant totaling $455,082 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for blood diseases and resources research. 

“These federal resources not only support ECU’s dedication to scientific excellence but also address a pressing public health concern and take proactive steps to understand and treat blood diseases, ensuring a healthier future for eastern North Carolina,” said Congressman Don Davis. “This funding underscores the university’s commitment to innovative medical research that can improve healthcare outcomes for the entire nation.”
